I can't walk....
ha .. seems that way. Another great leg workout. I honestly can't remember the last time I've worked legs like this. I've been catering to my lower back issues for so many years, my leg workouts have ..... become minimal. Last time I squatted and dead lifted was around 2004 .. so .. twenty years ago. I was doing a lot of leg presses... dealing with back issues.. then read Deep leg presses arch the back. So, I moved towards Hack squats. I fucking hate hack squats. They make you feel weak because of the light weight needed. They burn like a son of a bitch. They just never felt 'right' to me. But... I'm overcoming all that. Getting 3-4 sets in and about to go over 20 reps and add weight. Leg Extensions and Curls have the legs wobbling. Finish it off with donkey calf raises and I can barely walk out. Calves.. now there is a bitch. I used to have crazy strong calves but ... in the mid 90s and around 2002, I completely ruptured each of the achilles. Lets just say .. this white boy can't jump . Anymore at least.
I had legs in with Backs and Bi's but moved them to a separate day. Smartest thing I've done in awhile. Legs still feel 'small' but only because I'm comparing them to 'back in the day'. At this rate by 2025, I'll be in the best shape I've been since I retired from the USAF at 39. Hey .. could happen.
Now... abs. I've been slacking. May have to throw in an extra day into the rotation to focus on abs .. and burn some calories via aerobics. I hate aerobics...
