Headed to MX in a few months... REALLY need to step it up. Back in the Groove! I actually feel awesome for 62 and all the shit I've been through. Now, to drop a pants size
We're back from Vaca' with the daughter... and a week + away from the scale. Got on it a lil nervous this morning .. and .. BAM .. under 290. About a 2 lb weight loss while gone. Overall ate pretty good, but I snacked in the mornings when I normally don't. Had a stupid amount of B'day cake and got into a sugar rush a few days ago! Still.... felt pretty good. Clothes fit good.. but .. you never know? One lil thing that probably helped is for a couple of reasons, no alcohol the last week or so. Trying to figure out what messes with me riding sometimes and ... my daughter doesn't partake, so .... I abstained. No doubt that helped with the weight loss a lil? Back in the bodybuilding days, I stayed away from alcohol for up to 90 days while getting ready for a contest. So.... that plan may play into this a lil bit over the next sixty days. I'll do whatever it takes to hit 275. But .. as I said before.. I...
Finally .. down a size. Man ... didn't think I'd ever get to this point! Well, actually thought I would have sooner.. but...... slllllllooooooooow going. Well, finally back into the shirts I should be wearing. The 3XLs are falling off me. The 2XLs feel great. Today picked up two pair of pants for the wedding a size down which is what I was shooting for. After the wedding I crank up the protein and build up the good stuff, and continue to trim down the belly. Still have one more pants size to go.... Progress p.s. Still a few pounds from 'betting' weight. Might have to do some stupid stuff in the coming weeks.
Made that bet as few weeks ago. Yes, alcohol was involved. I made it based on I was just at 308, and 275 seemed 'close'. But, I was having some swelling issues and had ballooned up well over 330, so figured I'd get that under control and ... easy peasy. Hmmmmmm. Not. Well, I did get it (swelling) under control. Feel great. Saw the Doc earlier this week and left with flying colors. Even a reduction in medicine dosages. But ...... my weight isn't what I'd expected. As I type this I"m a notch under 319, but feel great. I've been dropping a pound a day, but it's not realistic to think I'll keep that up.. so .. what to do. I could do this via KETO simply, but I don't believe it's a long term solution. Besides, always seems like 5% of that loss is always water and comes back the minute you have some delicious carbs! There's the old fashioned method I used during my bodybuilding days. Work you...
