Floating in Fluids
Sort of .... Came back from Mexico realllly bloated. I rarely hold water. My lower extremities were swollen. Even my biceps/arms were. REALLY weird. Anyways, went on a 2 day fast, and I'm pretty much back to normal. I'm talking around fifteen pounds of water weight. WTF? In addition, I wrenched my back few days into the vaca', so chose not to workout and take a chance.
So, back in the gym today, backed off the max weights from last workout, kicked out a bunch of sets and feels like I did the day I left. Starting to recall all the obstacles I always face. Work Trips, Vacas, extended bike weekends; all cause hell with workouts and diet. The trick is to jump back into the fray once one gets home. Success. Sounds simple but damned if it hasn't tripped me up time after time in the past.
